It is the first Storage system manufacturing unit, which has been accredited with the prestigious ISO 9001 certification in India.

With a view toward providing the latest Warehousing Solutions, Godrej has formed a Joint Venture with Efacec of Portugal, the leading manufacturers of Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems in Europe, who have to their credit more than 90 installations the world over. Efacec is also an ISO 9001 company.

This Joint Venture company called Godrej Efacec Automation and Robotics Ltd (GEARL) is an amalgamation of two companies that are the best in their respective field of operations and for who quality is a way of life. Therefore, this company is able to get the best of both the worlds i.e. in terms of technology from Efacec which is one of the best in the world, as well as quality consciousness and tropicalisation to Indian environment of which the Godrej group is a personification for the last 100 years.
