MAINTENANCE

One of the biggest advantages of Stacker Cranes and similar AS/RS equipment is the elimination of maintenance prone components such as the Battery Hydraulic systems, etc.

This equipment runs on clean and environment-friendly electric power and has self-cleaning brushes to ensure a clean environment.

The maintenance required is minimum and is restricted to periodic checking of:

• Positions of photoelectric cells
• Reflectors
• Oil in motors
• Bearings

These are self-maintainable items and can be easily looked after by semi-skilled operators.

Replacement
Some components after years of use may require replacement. These are standard components available in the market and can be procured either directly or through Godrej Efacec.
